On behalf of THE RESPONSE National Leadership Team, HIS Vanguard Ministries wants to thank you for your willingness to help summon individuals, churches, and ministry organizations - in short, ALL BELIEVERS - to pray for and attend The Response on Saturday, August 6th at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX. Your participation is crucial to rally the Body of Christ to seek the LORD in prayer and fasting during this time prior to and on the day of August 6th.
Your foremost goals are to MOBILIZE your network to attend; PRAY and encourage believers (regardless of where they live across our entire nation) to fast and pray and urge them to marshall as many as possible to also attend and join in prayer.
1. “I WILL BE THERE!” - REGISTER TO ATTEND www.TheResponseUSA.com:
(Registration is FREE!) NOTE: It is important that anyone who plans to attend The Response here in Houston register for themselves, their family and the church or ministry they represent, if applicable. To be better prepared for the day of the event, be sure to check out the FAQ’s.
Helpful Tip: Reliant Stadium parking fee will be $15 (CASH) per vehicle. Use of carpools, vans, buses and METRORail is strongly encouraged.
2. “I WILL PRAY!” – JOIN PRAYER FORCE (“The Response” Prayer Network):
(a) To indicate commitment to pray AND receive Prayer Targets via email from the Prayer Network for The Response, which is called “PRAYER FORCE”, register HERE.
(b) If willing to coordinate prayer for your group, church, ministry, or prayer network, first register to participate in Prayer Force, and then email your name, contact info, and name(s) / type(s) of sphere of influence (group, church, network, etc.) to HIS Vanguard Ministries RESPONSE@HISVanguard.com. This additional step will assist in identifying prayer coverage for local areas, city, state, region, etc.
(c) As a Prayer Force participant we encourage you to use the Prayer Targets, which will be sent via email. (See example of Prayer Targets.) Please forward them to your online contact list. In addition, you may also host prayer conference calls and/or “face-to-face” local prayer meetings in your home or church. Please take whatever action is appropriate for you – limited or extensive - according to how the LORD leads you.
3. “I WILL SPREAD THE WORD!” – BE A MOBILIZER:
To indicate willingness to spread the word about The Response to your personal / ministry contact lists, please email your name, contact info, and name(s) / type(s) of sphere of influence (group, church, organization, or ministry network) to HIS Vanguard Ministries RESPONSE@HISVanguard.com. Your information will be submitted and mobilization communications and updates will be sent directly to you. For promotional / media resources (email template, video clip, radio spots, brochure, etc.) to invite your church, friends and community to The Response, click HERE.
4. “WE WILL GATHER TO PRAY!” - HOST CORPORATE GATHERING:
There may be churches or ministries that would like to host one or more local Corporate Prayer Events leading up to August 6th. Perhaps some in other cities / states absolutely can NOT attend the event at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, yet they would like to join in unity with those gathered at The Response by hosting a “Solemn Assembly” Corporate Prayer Gathering in their own locality and venue on August 6th.

If you - or those you invite - have concerns regarding issues such as: "will this become a political rally", "will Gov. Perry use this assembly as a platform to announce a possible Presidential candidacy" or "what about doctrinal / theological differences". Please read answers and listen to audio responses from respected leaders in the Body of Christ to these and other questions here. This information is offered to assist you in addressing some of the controversy that has arisen as a result of a government official calling the nation to prayer.

I would respond to ANY governmental leader who is saying, “Please, Church, would you seek God on behalf of the land?” My response, and hopefully yours is, “Absolutely.” This is definitely a collaboration of thousands of hearts, prayers and individuals like you from all over the nation. This gathering is so much greater than any one denomination or group. Our heart is that every aspect of the body of Christ is represented and that credit will not point to any single group or organization but to Christ alone.
